Subject to the provisions of Section 10.44.010, no person shall operate a motor vehicle within the boundaries of a city park area except on roads, streets, highways, parking lots or parking areas; provided, that traveling upon such streets, highways, parking lots or parking areas has not been prohibited by proper posting.
