Should the owner of any premises desire to discontinue the use of water, the owner shall give the city notice in writing and pay in full all outstanding charges on the account at the office of the city clerk. The water shall then be shut off. Availability charges will then commence as established in Chapter 2.50 of this code. Upon application and payment of a reconnect fee in the amount set forth in Chapter 2.50 of this code, the water will be turned on. Regular water service charges shall not cease without the notice prescribed in this section. (Ord. 947-04 § 2).
