15.04.010 Codes adopted.
The following codes are adopted by reference, with all amendments, changes and reenactments thereof as may be from time to time approved by the State Building Code Council and/or the State Legislature and copies of these codes are on file in the office of the public works director.
A. The 2018 International Building Code as published by the International Code Council, as adopted and hereafter amended by the State Building Code Council in Chapter 51-50 WAC, including Chapter 1 and Appendix Chapters F, H, I, and J. The International Building Code is adopted by reference with the amendments, additions, and deletions thereto as provided in Chapter 15.26 AMC, Building Code.
B. The International Residential Code, 2018 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, as adopted and hereafter amended by the State Building Code Council in Chapter 51-51 WAC, excluding Chapter 11, “Energy Efficiency,” Chapters 25 through 33, “Plumbing,” and Chapters 34 through 43, “Electrical.”
C. The International Mechanical Code, 2018 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, as adopted and hereafter amended by the State Building Code Council in Chapter 51-52 WAC, including the 2018 International Fuel Gas Code.
D. The International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 Edition, including the 2018 National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) and 2017 Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code (NFPA 58), as published by the International Code Council, as adopted and hereafter amended by the State Building Code Council in Chapter 51-52 WAC.
E. The Uniform Plumbing Code, 2018 Edition, as published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, as adopted and hereafter amended by the State Building Code Council in Chapter 51-56 WAC.
F. The International Energy Conservation Code, 2018 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, as amended by the State Building Code Council, filed as Chapters 51-11C and 51-11R WAC.
G. The Washington State Energy Code, 2018 Edition, with appendices thereto, as provided in Chapter 51-11 WAC, as adopted and hereafter amended by the State Building Code Council in Chapters 51-11C and 51-11R WAC.
H. The International Existing Building Code, 2018 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, as adopted and hereafter amended by the State Building Code Council in Chapter 51-52 WAC.
I. The International Fire Code, 2018 Edition, as published by the International Code Council and as adopted and amended by the State Building Code Council in Chapter 51-54A WAC including Appendix B, Appendix D, “Fire Apparatus Access Roads,” Appendix E, “Hazard Categories,” Appendix H, “Hazardous Materials Management Plan (HMMP) and Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement (HMIS) Instructions,” and Appendix L, “Requirements for Fire Fighter Air Replenishment,” is adopted by reference with the amendments, additions, and deletions thereto as provided in Chapter 15.28 AMC, Fire Code.
J. The International Property Maintenance Code, 2018 Edition, as published by the International Code Council.
