A. The city council shall have the standing committees established in this chapter. Standing committees shall have a membership of no more than two council members unless otherwise provided by this chapter or by applicable state law. All meetings of standing committees shall be open to the public.

B. In addition to the standing committees established in this chapter, the council may from time to time by resolution establish such ad hoc advisory committees as deemed necessary and appropriate in the council’s discretion. The duration, purpose and role of each such ad hoc committee shall be defined by the council. (Ord. 1186-21 § 1 (Exh. A), 2021).
