If the mayor appoints one individual to perform the duties of both the city attorney and the prosecutor, the office shall be known as city attorney-prosecutor. If the mayor appoints different individuals to perform and fulfill the different functions and duties, the offices shall be known as city attorney and city prosecutor, respectively. (Ord. 619 § 3, 1988; Ord. 376 § 2, 1980).
