The city hereby creates the office of hearing examiner consistent with Chapters 35A.63 and 58.17 RCW and other applicable state law. Whenever the term of “board of adjustment” or “board of appeals” appears in the Algona Municipal Code, such term refers to the hearing examiner. (Ord. 1191-21 § 4 (Exh. B), 2021).
