A. Receive and examine information and evidence;

B. Conduct public meetings and hearings and prepare a record thereof;

C. Administer oaths and affirmations;

D. Examine witnesses;

E. Make findings of fact and conclusions of law and issue written decisions stating such findings and conclusions;

F. Hear and decide applications for the following land use and/or zoning matters:

G. Hear and decide appeals of administrative decisions or determinations, where designated by this code;

H. Hear and decide appeals to notices, determinations, or orders pertaining to the enforcement of the city’s zoning and land use development codes and regulations where designated by this code;

I. Conduct prehearing conferences;

J. Take any other actions authorized by ordinance, resolution or city council motion with respect to any matter, or as may be necessary to implement, enforce or otherwise administer this chapter. (Ord. 1191-21 § 4 (Exh. B), 2021).
