The fees prescribed in this section must be paid to the city for each sign installation for which a permit is required by this chapter and must be paid before any such permit is issued by the building official. Fees for building permits for each sign erected, installed, affixed, structurally altered, relocated or created by painting shall be set in accordance with the schedule set forth in Section 2.50.070.
