A. Application Fee. A nonrefundable $50.00 application fee shall be paid when applying for a grading permit with the Algona planning/building department. Submittals which do not meet the standards of this chapter, and necessitate a re-review by the city, will require a new application and payment of a second application fee.
Work which starts before a permit is issued by the city will result in the applicant being charged a double application and permit fee, plus any engineering, administrative and legal expenses incurred by the city in investigating, field checking and handling the unpermitted work.
