A. “Chief administrative officer” means the mayor operating under mayor-council form of government.

B. “City” means the city of Algona, an incorporated, noncharter code city.

C. “Legislative body” means the city council.

D. “Ordinance” means a legislative enactment by the legislative body of the city.

E. “Planning commission” means any person, body, or organization designated by the legislative body to perform a planning function or portion thereof for the city. (Ord. 384 § 2, 1980).
